Dan Kimbro is a long-time Portlander who feels conflicted when people ask him where he’s from, having spent time growing up in Kenya, Texas, Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Eugene, Nashville, and Beaverton. He has worked as a delivery driver, a direct caregiver, a wine maker’s assistant, a bartender, a server, a grocery store clerk, a sea kayak guide, and a production assistant. You probably have never heard of the bands he has played in but he’s kind of a shredder on the guitar. He has written extensively in his private notebooks, played a lot of Grand Theft Auto, and floated the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Usually he is reading about 6 books at a time, none of which he ever finishes unless they are really good. He is married to a super hot Persian woman and is the father of a hilarious and good looking one year old son. He has 4 brothers, 1 sister, and two former hippie/ex-Catholic parents, all of whom live close by and get along great. Every night Dan, his wife, and their son share their queen sized bed with a dog named Chuchi and two cats named Alice and Steve.
