Passage by Tessa Brunton

Passage by Tessa Brunton

I've been wanting to do zine reviews for a really long time, but haven't had the time. So I figured I would just do a quick, weekly "recommended column." Enjoy!

1. Passage -by Tessa Brunton

This comic was great! I picked it up from the Sparkplug Comics table at the Portland Zine Symposium a couple weeks ago. It's a "coming of age" story. I read it late at night and then proceeded to stay up way past my bedtime looking at the author, Tessa Brunton's, website.

2. Mungo - By Katy Ellis O'Brien and Max Karl Key

This was a cute little comic that two friends made collaboratively. I usually don't like comics with anthropomorphized cats, but this one made me smile.

3. I Still Live - Biography of a spiritualist - by Annie Murphy

I've had this comic for almost a year. It's great. Just read it.
